Airsoft is a modern combat sport or hobby developed in Japan in the late 1970s to provide an alternative for gun hobbyists. Airsoft guns launches 6 mm or 8 mm plastic ball bearings powered by CO2, spring or electrical gearboxes. They are usually designed based on accurate replicas of real firearms, tactical gear, and accessories used by military and police organizations. Airsoft is very effective for combat training and they can hurt or cause a small amount of damage. Due its popularity airsoft are even prohibited various countries.
